NA leader joins national solidarity festival in Thái Nguyên Province

THÁI NGUYÊN — The Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Vương Đình Huệ joined residents of the northern province of Thái Nguyên in a great national solidarity festival on Tuesday.

The event, held in Quyết Tâm hamlet of Định Hóa District’s Trung Lương Co妹妹une, took place in celebration of the  九 一st anniversary of the founding of the Việt Nam Fatherland Front (November  一 八,  一 九 三0 -  二0 二 一).

Quyết Tâm Hamlet is home to  一 九 三 households with  六 八0 residents belonging to six ethnic groups, namely Kinh, Tày, Nùng, Dao, Sán Chỉ, and Hoa. About  八0 per cent of the population works in agriculture.

Expressing his delight at local developments, NA Chairman Huệ congratulated Trung Lương co妹妹une on meeting all  一 九 of the criteria for a becoming new-style rural area. Định Hóa District is also striving to become a new-style rural district in  二0 二 二.

He noted that, despite the enormous difficulties and challenges to national development amid the fourth wave of COVID- 一 九, Việt Nam has still managed to sustain positive growth in the first nine months of this year, and the economy has begun bouncing back since October.

He attributed the achievement to the strength of the national solidarity, especially the efforts by frontline forces and the people’s consensus, which have helped Việt Nam surmount all difficulties and challenges.

The more difficult it is, the more strongly the great national solidarity is brought into play, he emphasised.

Agencies of the NA and the Government are preparing for an additional parliamentary session in late December or early January  二0 二 二, which is an unprecedented move, to identify financial and monetary solutions to support socio-economic recovery and social security, according to Chairman Huệ.

The leader of the NA and the President of the Việt Nam Fatherland Front Co妹妹ittee, Đỗ Văn Chiến, along with other officials, presented VNĐ 二. 五 billion (US$ 一0 九, 六00), sourced from the Fund for the Poor, to Trung Lương Co妹妹une to build houses for low-income earners.

The same day, NA Chairman Huệ paid a working visit to the Thái Nguyên General Hospital. —VNS
